Complaints policy:
Higgins Tennis, Nederland views complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future as well as a chance to put things right for the person that has made the complaint.
-Our policy is to provide a fair complaint procedure which is clear and easy to use for anyone wishing to make a complaint
-To publicize the existence of our complaint procedures, so that people know how to contact us to make a complaint
-To make sure everyone at Higgins Tennis Nederland knows what to do if a complaint is received
-To make sure all complaints are investigated fairly and in a timely way
- To make sure the complaints are whenever possible resolved and that relationships are repaired
-To gather information to improve what we do
Confidentiality
All complaint information will be handled sensitively, telling only those who need to know and following any relevant data protection requirements.

S.V. Triaz & Tennispark Randwijck
Class Registration
1. To take lessons at the Club S.V. Triaz or Tennispark Randwijck, you must purchase a Club Membership (Rates are posted below).
2. We DO NOT offer refunds OR credits for personal missed lessons. Effective, Sept 1, 2024, we will no longer offer makeup lessons for personal missed days. If you miss a class for personal reasons, we will not offer makeups, credits, or refunds.
We have updated this policy as our program has grown and continuing to offer makeups will make it challenging for us to continue to offer high quality lessons with a low teacher to student ratio at an affordable cost. MAKEUP lessons are not allowed for any reason at our on campus school programs. (AICS, Amity, etc) We may change or suspend our makeup policy without written notice at any time.
3. Cancellation Policy: At S.V. Triaz, we rarely cancel group classes due to rain or bad weather or instructor illness. At Randwijck, because we play on clay and the surface can be quite delicate, we may cancel group classes. We will give you as much notice as possible. If we do cancel at either location, we will notify you on the day of the class as soon as we know the class is canceled.
-Code Orange/Red-when there is a Code Orange or Red in place we will cancel lessons for the safety of our students and our instructors-there are no refunds, credits or makeups when classes have to be cancelled due to Code Orange
4. Youth & Adult Class Weather Cancellation & Makeups:
* Youth Classes will continue on in most poor weather conditions, and we will just take breaks if a heavy downpour.
* If your child is being picked up by us from a school, we will only cancel in the event of dangerous weather or travel conditions.
* Any decision we make to cancel a session due to heavy rain is based on the extent to which the courts are affected. The all weather field, even after a heavy downpour, will drain and be playable in 15 minutes or less. Many sessions will still go ahead in the rain.
* In extreme weather warning conditions issued by the Dutch weather authorities, such as heavy snow, strong winds or very wet flash flood conditions, we will cancel lessons.
* Customers will be sent an email, and if they have signed up for the group whatsapp for their class, a whatsapp message once a decision to cancel has been made
* If it is raining at the start of your lesson or starts during your lesson, such that the rain forms large drops, then we will wait 15 minutes to see if it will possibly clear. If at the end of 15 minutes, it looks like it will continue raining for at least another 15 minutes, we will probably cancel the rest of the lesson and issue a makeup for the part of the lesson that was cancelled.
* If roads are frozen we cancel. If there is heavy rain, we advise students to use their discretion when traveling to their lesson, and come late if need be to avoid short downpours.
Makeups:
* There are no makeups for classes missed for personal reasons, including illness. This is in line with standard policy at all clubs in the area.
* We will make up a class if we cancel. We may makeup a lesson by adding time to future lessons, offering a separate makeup day, or if space allows having students makeup their class in a different class, or by extending the session, or in some cases adding a credit to your account. Each class is different, so we like to have lots of options to best accommodate the majority of players.
* If you can not come to a makeup class, then we don't offer any additional makeup options refunds or credits.
Student Cancellations
will be processed less a 25 cancellation fee. Cancellations requested prior to the start date of the program will have the €25 cancellation fee withheld from their refund. Cancellations requested after the start of the program, but before the 2nd scheduled class date will have the €25 cancellation fee plus the cost of the first class withheld from their refund. NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations requested after the start of the 2nd scheduled class. No refunds will be issued due to illness*. If we must cancel a program before the start date of the program, a full refund will be provided. Transfers from one program to another will be processed with a $15 processing fee per transfer, provided that space is still available.
5. Lesson fees may increase annually at minimum of 3% for youth & adult lessons
S.V. Triaz Club Membership
Club membership is open to everyone. You do not need to take lessons to be a member of the club and play tennis. Membership renewals may not be prorated.
ADULT Club Membership
€126 plus 10 key deposit for a year or if you join anytime in April, May, June = €136
€94,50 plus 10 key deposit if you join anytime in July, Aug, Sept = €104,50
€63 plus 10 key deposit if you join anytime in Oct, Nov, Dec = €73
€31.50 plus 10 key deposit if you join anytime in Jan, Feb, Mar = €41,50
YOUTH Club Membership
€92 for a year or if you join anytime in April, May, June
€69 if you join anytime in July, Aug, Sept
€46 if you join anytime in Oct, Nov, Dec
€23 if you join anytime in Jan, Feb, Mar
A key is not automatically issued for a Junior Membership, but may be purchased for €10.

Membership Billing Policy:
1. All new members must register and will be invoiced.
2. If you are an adult member, then please email higginstennisnloffice@gmail.com to arrange a time to pick up a key to the club
3. Members may not have guests
4. At the end of the membership year, March 31, your membership will expire and if you do not renew it by then, your key will be deactivated. Please return your key by placing it in an envelope with your name on it in our mailbox. When we receive it, we will then return your €10 deposit.
5. Existing members will be billed in March. You will not be considered a club member if the invoice is left unpaid.
Club S.V. Triaz Rules
Participants understand and agree to the S.V. Triaz Club Rules
The number of available tennis courts is limited and varies. See current schedule above.
The courts are unplayable when there is water on the fields and when it is frozen and the weather is thawing.
The last user moves the net to the side of the field.
The tennis courts may only be played by members of sports club S.V. Triaz. The access is strictly personal. You must close the entrance behind you to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the park.
Lighting is available on all artificial grass courts. The lighting can be operated from the hall at the entrance of the clubhouse.
The last user extinguishes the light towers and also ensures that the lights in the clubhouse (changing rooms and toilets) are off and that the door is closed.
By entering the sports complex, players and visitors expressly waive any right to compensation against sports club Triaz for damage, in whatever way, to body or property.
The tennis participants are personally responsible for all damages caused to people and things, including tennis courts, nets, club building, etc.
For access to the park and the clubhouse, a so-called key tag is provided for a deposit. The deposit will be refunded upon return. Loss or theft must be reported immediately. When replacing the tag a deposit will be paid again. The key tag is personal and it is explicitly not permitted to lend the tag to third parties.
If you leave the site, close the entrance gate behind you.
We do not offer pro-rated refunds for club membership if a member leaves the club before the end of the membership season.
TennisPark Randwijck Membership: 1 April - 31 October
Outdoor Clay Courts
* €99 a season for youth (Ages 4-17)
* €189 a season for adults (Ages 18 and up)
* €389 a season for family
* The season runs from April 1 through October 31-this facility has no lights so play ends at dark.
* Members can use the club to play on most days of the week. Online reservations possible up to a week in advance.
* 2 clay outdoor courts available
* Additional options to book a court for the entire season for a set rate, guaranteeing yourself and your friends a court every week.
Club Rules Tennis Park Randwijck
CLUB RULES
As of April 1, 2023, the following rules apply:
1. You may not enter the courts with anything other than tennis shoes (so no jogging or other types).
2. Please take into account the noise nuisance to the neighbors.
3. One must be dressed in proper tennis attire, at the discretion of the owner
4. Tennis-playing parents who bring children are responsible for whatever damage the children may cause and should not leave them to their own devices
5. It is not allowed to cycle on the track with bicycles of any kind, that includes small tricycles or steps for children
6. No stray dogs in the park
7. The renter and his fellow player(s) are responsible for damage to third parties
8. When it rains, tennis is not allowed
After rainfall, the lanes should NOT be swept dry with the large or small broom
9. ATTENTION!! it is ABSOLUTELY not allowed to dry the puddles with the trawl nets. This creates potholes in the track, so that the puddles remain even longer next time.
10 The following is not allowed and will be closely monitored,
a. Climbing the fences
b. Contaminate the courts
c. Jumping or stepping over the nets
d. Getting a ball from any of the surrounding gardens without asking the relevant resident first.
11. It is mandatory to drag the court after playing tennis.
HOUSE RULES!!
As of April 1, 2023, the following rules apply:
1. The self-service system will be implemented for all days, except when there is service
2. When taking a drink, paying per day is mandatory as well as paying in the piggy bank next to the toilet door.
3. It must be ensured that the used cups, glasses or otherwise, are cleanly put back in their place before leaving the park
4. Empty bottles must be placed in the appropriate crate(s) and not left on the table or bar
5. It must also be ensured that the countertop and the bar are left clean for the following persons
6. The tenants will be held liable for the default of their fellow players
7. Children behind the bar and taking bottles from the fridge are not allowed. Parents must supervise this

a. It is not allowed to bring your own bottles or cans
b. Taking bottles from the park is also not allowed
9. The tenants are obliged to inform their fellow players of these house rules if they see someone breaking them.
Waiver & Conditions
By participating in Higgins Tennis Nederland Programs participants release and hold harmless Higgins Tennis Nederland, William T. Higgins, and Club S.V. Triaz, Tennispark Randwijck and all their officers, employees, sole proprietors and the like, and volunteers hired by Higgins Tennis Nederland, William T. Higgins, and Club S.V. Triaz or Tennispark Randwijck to perform tennis, korfball, soccer, and other instruction for all claims and demands of every kind, nature and character that I may acquire for any and all physical or property damages, losses or injuries that may be suffered or sustained by me or my child in connection with athletic instructions by Higgins Tennis Nederland, William T. Higgins, and Club S.V. Triaz, and Tennispark Randwijck, I understand that engaging in athletic instruction can result in a number of possible injuries or medical issues including but not limited to physical injuries caused by stepping on loose balls, being hit by the tennis or other balls and/or rackets, pulled muscles, strains, and conditions resulting from physical exertion, and illness. I certify that the participant in said activities does not have no any known medical conditions that might be adversely affected by participation in this event. I am either the participant 18 years or older signing on my behalf or the parent or legal guardian of the participant and I am competent to contract in my own name. I have read this release before signing below, and I fully understand the contents, meanings, and impact of this release and waiver.•I have read, understood, and agree to the above terms.
Participants also understand that our program may be affected by Force Majeure Events: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this agreement Higgins Tennis Nederland and S.V. Triaz and Tennispark Randwijck shall be excused from its obligations under this agreement to the extent and whenever it shall be prevented from the performance of such obligations by any Force Majeure Event. For purposes of this agreement, a “Force Majeure Event” includes but is not limited to fires, floods, earthquakes, pandemic, epidemic, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, regulation of any public authority, and other causes beyond their control. The (USER/REGISTRANT) waives any right of recovery against Higgins Tennis Nederland and S.V. Triaz and Tennispark Randwijck the (USER/REGISTRANT) shall not charge results of “acts of God” to Higgins Tennis Nederland or S.V. Triaz or Tennispark Randwijck, its officers, employees, or agents.Source document
